Re: Ski Movies
That is what you get when you combine a culture that grew up on xc skis with the availability of modern medicine and possibly a little red bull. Also my guess is those guys have a lot of extra skis around to get you through learning process.

Re: Ski Movies
That was a great video Rod, it really made me want to go skiing. Thanks for posting it.
Re: Ski Movies
I liked that video very much, thanks Rod.
It was cool to see all the different styles and approaches to skiing on those skis, and it's all still very relevant for those skiing on what we call XCD today.
I think I'd pass on skiing anything over 200cm though... even with long flats.

Re: Ski Movies
I'm glad you feel that way Johnny, even though they didn't huck any big drops, do inverted arials or ski a 50 degree slope.LoveJohnny wrote:Those Italian instructors in their leathers are just the very best skiers I've seen in my entire life...!
Re: Ski Movies
Nah, that's only cool on XC race skis with NNN bindings...lowangle al wrote:even though they didn't huck any big drops, do inverted arials or ski a 50 degree slope.
