If you don't like full skeletons and you dislike heel lift, this may be the boot for you!
Oh, this is obviously the boot I need...! Thanks for sharing...! (You knew it's what I was looking for right? : )
I'm still completely in love with my collection of Alaskas, but heel lift due to the stiffness of the NNNBC sole is slowly killing me...
Do you think it's the same "CSF" as on your Svartisen?
The CRISPI® Skeleton Frame C.S.F. was born from the experience developed by the company in the Telemark skiing world, field where CRISPI® is and has been world champion for years. The characteristics of a Telemark boot of the latest generation are maximum stability while twisting, together with a right and gradual foot bending: both these qualities are ideal for a trekking shoe. The C.S.F. system, thanks to two lateral containing supports allows the maximum torsional control ensuring however the best foot bending. The C.S.F. system achieves levels of performance usually reached by high altitude footwear with however much lower weight and more comfortable walking.

Nah - it looks just like the Svartisen without the actual cuff part (and some orange leather accents ) - I call that the skeleton, but I bet that heel is plastic reinforced like the Svartisen so it has something to hold onto when you crank down that ratchet strap.
Literally looks like the same boot with the upper cuff cut off and the addition of two lace loops on the upper. The Svartisen only has one pair because of the upper ratchet strap.
I prefer sewn Norwegian-welt boots for any multi-day tour over all these glued-molded sole models. But then again my wife worked in Komito's shop for a long spell. Maybe these are aimed at the "Scandi market" but I doubt it- I ski there quite a bit and Alfa rules that market for leather boots, Norwegians will pay a large premium for Made in Norway (and they can well afford to).
Again in 75mm land, they say the T4 is most popular seller but Crispi is the only one selling Norwegian welted boots (almost as much as a new T4 - no wonder most people go for the T4!) -
Just listen to this translation! It makes ME want to buy another pair!

I know... I shopped for Alfa boots this summer and saw this one...
I'm aware of every single boot on the market...
(Well, the ones appearing on websites... ; )
Seriously, is the XCD world such a boring one? Why does ALL the boots have to be plain black?!?

And in regards to the "skeleton" - what Crispi calls the CSF is something internal to the heel of the boot. I believe when we were referencing skeletons, we were meaning exo-skeleton type cuffs.
I tried to find the link but I can't find it anymore... Gee, can't remember where I read that... But they were saying that the skeleton is inside the boot, not outside...
