I'm 50 according to my paperwork, but I think its wrong and I'm actually 35...I need to check my VIN...at least I'm numbers matching as far as I know... my kids prob don't think I act my age....whatever that means...
when I was an XC racer in high school, we would sometimes take old gear to a hill on the local golf course and we would ski up. we called it "ski bounding", basically leaping forward with no glide. it was seriously hard. going down was basically walking.

What app is that? I've just started trying to track my training, and I like the info that app gave.
Re: I've started training for next season....
I use an Apple Watch for training. when the watch syncs with your phone you get a workout summary like the pic I posted.
I bought the apple watch with cellular capability, but I believe all the GPS functionality works without a cellular plan.
there are other workout trackers you can get, but some of them are linked to social media...and I hate that. Strava is the worst offender in my opinion.

Thanks. This is a bit embarrassing, but I was given an apple iwatch a few months ago, and although I log my workouts on the watch, I didn't realize I could view summaries of my workouts on the phone (I'm not the most tech-savvy). Thanks for pointing this out. I just went back and viewed summaries of several of my previous workouts, which was nice.
Re: I've started training for next season....
well I can't figure out how to view workout histories on my watch. after you click "done" on the watch, I can't view past workouts on the watch, only on my phone. have you figured out how to view history on the watch?
Re: I've started training for next season....
No, I couldn't view previous workouts on the watch, and since I didn't know I could do that on the phone, I simply never saw my previous workouts. Since I got the watch, I seldom carry the phone, and it would be nice to be able to view workout histories. But I really shouldn't be talking about tech stuff, given my level of incompetence.

well its not the rockies or the Tetons, but I have entered 4 trail running races over the next 6 weeks. they are short: 5-10k each, but should be fun.
