What's a good source for _waxless/fishscale_ tele skis for kids? My 7 year olds use 100 to 110 alpine skis when at the lifts. I could go up about 20cms if needed. I just got 2 pairs of Scarpa T4s for them in sizes 22 and 21.5 from Sierra Trading post for $75, which was a good deal. Looking for a cheap intro pair specific for touring the hills and dales, hence the fish scales. Not a lot of variety in such small sizes. Any tips would be appreciated. Plan to mount basic 3 pin binding.

I use my T4s with Madshus Epochs and Voile hardwire for my tours, but I never use the wires. I'm basically looking for the kids equivalent.

EDIT: Due to lack of availability of waxless skis in such short lengths, using alpine skis with skins look like a better idea...

I would advise maybe Ebay. Here's a sample:

Another oprion is give a call down to the Whitegrass Ski Area in Davis, WV. They have a buy once and trade in program. I don't have all the information, but it is on their website. It's a Nordic Ski Touring area, on my list to see. Their program for young skiers sounded really good.
They have a big sale THIS WEEKEND
