Powder baskets are not good to operate binding heel risers, if it's your case. BD used to sell baskets with a shorter part to operate the binding, they are a bit soft for that but work sometimes. I think they don't sell them anymore, they were not super wide as you need. The workaround is to grab the pole from from the other side and operate the binding with the handle

That's what I do. It works pretty well, depending on bindings.

I live for the Telemark arc....The feeeeeeel.....I ski miles to get to a place where there is guaranteed snow to do the deal....TM

Thanks for the responses and the ideas.

The Swix options would likely have solved my concern.

But at the prices they were asking I was having a hard time motivating.

What length did you go with? If I had to choose I think I'd go with 125s and I'm 5'10".
