I know!! But with all the fresh snow here this morning, I decided to skip the UnBlackdiamondize part in Photoshop... But thanks for being alert and protecting us against evil spirits...!

Mine are very similar. But I think mine are a 'hiking' pole vs. a ski pole.

They adjust length and have snow baskets... that's all that seemed to matter when I bought them.

I'll be more conscience next time and make sure my poles are vegan, organic, fair trade, and locally made :geek:

Ahahahahaha!

The funniest thing is that I actually do own a pair of BD poles myself... But if you take a closer look at the picture below, you will notice that I unblackdiamondized my poles with a can of spray paint and electrical tape...

Enjoying the view perched on the edge of a cornice is not a good idea. People die.
Take a look at the cornices in the background. They are overhanging nothingness.
Be safe out there.

Edited to add a newspaper clipping from last season at my favorite swimming hole:

he has not been found. the lake is almost 2000 feet deep.

My god, could it be that there is a correlation between stupidity and owners of Black Diamond poles?

Well you can surely chalk this jackass up to owning a pair. I even put up the proof.
