Wish I brought the Karhu leathers. Was in the T4s and didn't need them. Pulled the cables too when I de iced after the 3rd or 4rth creek / water crossing.

It's a favorite playground of mine and friends. There are ways to drop in from Bolton ski are, and lots of backcountry potential, including connecting to Bolton Trapp's trail and lots of terrain in Cotton Brook. We have some skinning and downhill sketched out on Woodward Mt that is also in the area. And we have some firewood strategically located for a winter overnight.
Had two great days of skiing this past weekend with the ladyfriend and a good ski buddy. Maine got a big storm with about 2' of fresh snow, and even more drifting into the trees. One day of lift served skiing, and one day of mellow touring turned 5 hour bushwhack through chest deep snow. The photos are all from the bushwhack day.
wow, absolutely beautiful - what lake is that? I can't wait to get to Saddleback, skiing must be getting good with the lifts closed and the recent dumpings, another one tonight as well.

Moosehead!
We were thinking about heading over to saddleback, but a 50 mph west wind kept us away. I saw some photos from folks who went the next day and it looked reeeeeeaaaaaaally nice.
