It looks like the tongue clamshells around the pin, or goes under it. I dunno, odd looking. Sharkfin is an interesting way to keep the heel from sliding sideways. Anyone ever use them?
I had that Adidas setup. There are no "pins". The binding clamped over a bulge at the end of the toe. Sole was hard plastic. The toe box too narrow for my narrow foot and painful so I only used them for one season.
