Oh, those must be the older ones. I thought you got these:

The Fischer Explorer is a robust cruising ski featuring Air Channel construction for light, responsive performance and a wide body for enhanced climbing.
Wear-resistant Sintec base
Mountain Crown climbing system
Steel edges
Waxless
Sidecut: 60/50/59/50/55 mm
Weight: 4 lb. 4 oz. (based on 184)
Core: Wood
Edge: Steel
Size: S(164cm) M(174cm) L(184cm)
Closeouts. Austria.

They have some really funny sidecut. I'm not thinking they were wildly popular.

Quit messing with those Glitts and get some S Bounds. ;)

Yeah that's a rad sidecut... 5D skis are the new cool!

I got an older model, probably from around 2005 or something? I thought I would just keep the old Rossignol branded bindings and throw the skis away...

Yeah, they look very good for XCD.
In general we have few days for us to see such nice conditions this spring.

Wow wow and re-wow! Is your season ever going to end? We still have some snow remaining in some remote area here (american north east) but the long drive just doesn't worth it anymore...
