out here, covid is impacting the lift lines, but its not bad. for example: there is no Singles line, and lift operators do not manage loading to ensure full chairs. I ski alone, so as we get close to loading, I look for singles and doubles and ask if they want to share a lift. only 2 times in the last 2 weeks have people said no. I respect everyone's decision, but I still ask. I feel a bit bad riding a quad chair alone while others are waiting .

It was great while it lasted though. Were you on those Vectors I recommended to you a few years ago?

Hey hey!
I was actually on a pair of Dynastar Cham 97 High Mountain with Axl bindings. I could have taken the Vector BCs and they would have done just fine, but this particular tour is all up-up-up/down-down-down, so the fish scales would not have mattered. Don't worry, though. Those Vector BCs have seen a lot of action these last few years. Mostly Adirondacks, Catskills, southern VT.

About 45 miles SSW of Jackson, Idaho/Wyoming border, Caribou-Targhee National Forest.
For whatever reason, we have not been getting the cold others have. Daytime temps mostly in the upper 20s, even low 30s. Overnight lows mostly in the teens to 20s. Snowfall, mostly moist. Been way behind on snowfall, but catching up now.

Trying some new stuff. Difficult snow today (irregular hardness due to wind). It was nice to have the t4 boots on the way down.
The view is towards Trondheim. I live on the edge of this mountain area, where the mountain meets the city. There are 120km of prepared xc tracks here, but I much prefer to go out of tracks.
