boot and glove electric heaters

Post by powdah » Mon Feb 10, 2014 11:43 am

I suffer from cold toes and hands. I have spent $100's of dollars on gloves, mittens, liners. Cannot keep my fingers warm below 20 degrees.

Do Hotronics electric insoles work for teleing. I see they also make a electric glove / liner. Anyone have any experience with these or something similar?

Really ?
About all I ever use is a wool liner in
this 20-dollar army/navy mitten shell, at least down to 10
degrees or so..colder than that I use a wool mitten
over the wool liner in the shell..Are you keeping plenty
of air space ? Tight gloves or mittens do not trap air /insulate..
Like i say, I can get a their wool mitten over my wool liner and then
put a shell like this over them and there's still a lot of space ..i
could even put a warmer pad in if i wanted to ski at -30 i guess..

Glove-mitten-liner ..i oil the leather part of the liner and spray the remainder with
a water seal..

I should also state that it is more of a circulation issue, combined with low blood pressure from being too healthy  .

It's probably the first thing you did, but have you tried baby powder? It can make a big difference...

I have tried baby powder and anti deodorants to keep the moisture down.

Mostly wanting to know more about others experience with electric heaters.
