We're in the throes of a Pineapple Express here, hoping the snow line stays low as I have a trip going into the Selkirks to our cabin this weekend. Glad you guys are getting a good winter, Bruce. Been watching your posts...
My buddy Matt is going into the hut with me....he'll be on leather and pins, and an early mid-fat Tua ski I believe. I, of course, will be in my wheelchair and skiing my AT rig.

Funny thing: a few weeks ago Matt pulls me aside to show me these pictures that he found on the internet...wild freeheel skiers. Guess who? The KTB crew! He was psyched to find out that you and the crew had been out here with us last season.

Raven, did you see yesterday's post from our favorite CO ski instructor: "Nice Form"....reminded me of gay body builders admiring each others oiled-up pectorals! "Nice pecs, baby"... F'in classic!

So far, no cryptic PM from the site owner telling me how to interact with others. Maybe the Type A tele'ers were finally able to restrain themselves and IGNORE IT?

Still pounding down snow at the Crest..16 inches of untouched this am
at the little hill!!! Maybe a total of 4 feet of new by Friday ..they say..
Annual trip to the Little Bitterroot Friday..Man , snow should hold
above 4500, we'll see! Ya get what ya get and I am stubborn about
ever cancelling a ski trip! 6200 at the summit of Blacktail , so
half the mountain will be ok..Prob go from Ice to slush by 1 or 2 pm!
Boy was it nice yesterday..now let the waxing begin!!

Raven with that much snow any place around here would be over run....and skied out....wow that looks good...Bill the boys are skiing up a storm and Kurt and I and possibly Telesven will hit a new dump on Friday....1000 up and totally wonderful down....repeat on another zone....for this old boy exhilarating exhaustion....TM
