Where do you guys put your heel levers?
So, big time newb/gaper questions here: I assume the heel levers go where the cable bindings would go on a plastic boot in that nice groove, but I've been looking around and I see both: heel levers in the cable groove and also on top of the heel lug, like an alpine boot.

I always put mine in the groove. Just assumed that's what it was for. A couple of times I've accidentally put it on top of the lug. Never noticed a difference in feel though.Woodserson wrote:So, big time newb/gaper questions here: I assume the heel levers go where the cable bindings would go on a plastic boot in that nice groove, but I've been looking around and I see both: heel levers in the cable groove and also on top of the heel lug, like an alpine boot.

They should be in the groove. That's the nice thing about the 22-designs lever - it has a little beaver tail on the bottom that puts the heel throw right into the groove when you flip it up.
