Where do you guys put your heel levers?

Post by Woodserson » Fri Dec 09, 2016 12:00 pm

So, big time newb/gaper questions here: I assume the heel levers go where the cable bindings would go on a plastic boot in that nice groove, but I've been looking around and I see both: heel levers in the cable groove and also on top of the heel lug, like an alpine boot.

Thoughts/opinions?

I always put mine in the groove. Just assumed that's what it was for. A couple of times I've accidentally put it on top of the lug. Never noticed a difference in feel though.

They should be in the groove. That's the nice thing about the 22-designs lever - it has a little beaver tail on the bottom that puts the heel throw right into the groove when you flip it up.
