La montagne Blanche, Val des Lacs, QC, jan 5th 2017

Thank god I was back on my ski yesterday in the Laurentians region in Quebec. After a good start along the border this season, it was now time to explore further north where it never rain.

The montagne Blanche has a lot of cross-country skiing to offer with some remote ski lines (12km return trip). The inital plan was to ski a snow field but Luc just couldn't reach it with his split board. We had to turn around less than 1km from the goal but we still skied some woods on the way back.

Conditions were awsome with more than 1.2 meter of snow pretty much every where on the mountain.

Good to see you getting some XC in your XCD. Now you need to figure out how to modify your skis to make them cover 12kms faster
