Took another look at this thread, and noticed the Telemark bindings on the wall behind Woods. I thought that's pretty cool, I wonder what ski areas are near North Conway, and is there any kind of trail network? Well I should have known, Live (free heel) or Die. I look up ski areas first, and I find Cranmore Ski Resort. The first photo is a guy on tele gear. It looks like a fun place to ski, looks like a mountain with interesting terrain. So I decide what I can come up with for back country skiing. A quick search reveals Attitash Mountain Resort. If the snow gets to deep for fat tire bikes, the trail photo screams for an 88 Excursion at 199 cm, just screams. I actually thought I heard the photo say, come from Michigan, bring skis.
Very cool Woods, I might never travel if I lived in your neck of the woods.

nice! I shed a tear when they stopped making the 199 Sbound 78's, it seems like the perfect length in that ski. lots of good news in 2019, Fischer getting longer, Asnes expanding, new run of Andrew Shoes
maybe next year they'll be brave enough to call them 200's!

Ragged Mounain in Intervale is located in epicenter of eastern BC skiing! You can even hit the local trail network right out of the store's parking lot, no need to move your car
interesting, the Fischer website shows the 78's available up to 199 but only lists up to 189 for the 88's

I might just have to have a pair of each of them in 199cm...especially seeing that they have the Easy-Skin inserts...
Anybody sees them for sale online- please let us know! (Especially from a Canadian site!)

What's going on here, I thought we had the Asnes fever. Don't they have a ski that will do everything the 88 will do but only better???
