Hi volks,

Like the Shakespeare dilemma, what about using telebry?

What about using them with leather Crispi Svartisen, voile 3PCable and E99?

And what about using them with T4 / Switchback and E109?

If I could afford it, I would do it...!

That was my first option when I started tele... I was phobic about having non-releasable bindings... But I never was able to find a used pair... So I went with Voile release plates instead...

The main question is if the additional 10 oz per foot is worth, for peace of mind & peace of knees. Given the fact that I would anyway put a riser plate.

Any experience out here? Prerelease problems ? Nonrelease problems ?

Very positive experience with wife who blew an ACL and needed confidence in release. Have an extra set I would be willing to let go for a reasonable price - for BD 01. Can send pictures.

binding get mounted.

We kinda feel that we have free heel to take stress off knees....The fear of a pre - release where we ski could be catastrophic.... A clinic I went to...back some....Mostly Alpine people have blowouts because of the stress build-up...when in the sit back position....We get hurt now and again but it's generally not the knee..TM

This was similar to my experience - I got two responses after atleast a week each time. Then I said I was ready to order (it was not obvious from the website which options I needed) and no response after that, so I gave up and bought the last 7tm's I could find.

This was for my resort ski. If/when I buy a xcd or skinny ski I won't bother, and just mount with sloppy spring bindings.

finally I got a phone call with Bryce. the funny of the story is that he also doesn't know exactly how wide
are the bases of the X-Safeouts. The T&T narrow bases are 53 mm, so a little too wide for the E99. It is also
true that the bases are not rectangular (narrower on tip) so the may somehow fit.

Bryce argued that in the bases there is no mechanism at all and that it is also possible to mount the Safeouts on top of
another raiser or just a thin metal support.

Ah. What he said is also that the screws to mount the bases follow the Telenorm pattern.

Great! Thanks for the info!

Which means that you can mount the telebry wherever you can fit 3p bindings with the standard 3-hole pattern.

Simply put a riser on your E99s, mount the binding over it and you're ready to go...!
