Apline touring bindings on XCD skis

I realize this question is off the left field a bit.... But can you safely install alpine touring bindings on a XCD ski (e.g. Fischer S-Bound 112)? What would be the downside? I'm considering this options for the following reasons:
1) I am hating putting on skins constantly and taking them off while on my touring skis
2) I like the idea of one ski for resort and BC
3) Telemarking is bothering my knees and somehow alpine doesn't - go figure.

Dude, the Objective BC is literally made for this. It's worth the money for exactly what you're describing.

An issue with some skis is a non reinforced area for the heel piece. Altai, for instance, recommends inserts for tech bindings as only the toe area is reinforced.

Based on what I've learned recently, the Voile BC (waxless) skis may be better for this purpose than the S-Bounds. Less noisy, great downhill, but still decent grip from the fish scales. In addition to the Objective, the UltraVector or HyperVector BC are supposed to be good. They also have V6 and V8 BC, which I think are more powder focused.

but there is no V8 BC(with scales)
, I know this because I don't have them.

That combo has worked for me for a few years but I'm far from a charger.
