If you cannot find it easily, we can just measure when mine arrive in January. If the weight reduction is mostly in the tip, then the balance point might be a little further back too, which might make them just a tiny bit less turny...Woodserson wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 5:40 pmCan someone remind me on the weight savings with Teal Gamme please?

And faster. I keep thinking I might move mine backwards a bit, especially the 200s. That's another interesting question... Did the BP move on the Teal Man?
Today I skied a 205 E99 Pre-Xtralite. It felt kind of heavy. I weighed my 205 Nansens and they were lighter. And wider. No wonder I love those skis. And at my weight they have a little snap to them underfoot. They are just better. I would like a 205 E99 Xtralite Tour now.
But the graphics... Maybe I can paint the Teal Man green?

I cant remember what the weight difference is...
It is noticable.
Is the Green Man as heavy as your pre-Xtra E99?
I can confirm that the balance point, and the overall geometry is identical between the first and second-gen (current) Gamme 54. The new Gamme feels just as supportive, and the resistance underfoot is the same- but the new model's flex feels more responsive than the Green Man.
Why are you considering moving your mounting point backwards- better glide?

Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.

Paint them green, but be sure to add a pumpkin sticker! Oh oh! Now they’re back to Green Man weight!
The Green Man is fast, even faster when you say,”Room-a-Room-zoo” when kicking down the trail!

Re: Green Gamme vs Teal Gamme weight difference
Hahaha this is great!
The 205cm PRE Xtralite E99 Tour are 1478g w/ Manuals (SINGLE)
The 200cm Green Man are 1328g w/ Magnums (SINGLE)
Magnums are 30g heavier IIRC
So adjusted for binding inflation, Green Man is 1298g, or 180g lighter than the PREXtralite (PER SINGLE SKI)

Re: Green Gamme vs Teal Gamme weight difference
Received some intel:
Teal Man 200cm (pair): 1979g
Green Man 200cm (pair): 2105g
without bindings
Avg 63g diff per ski
So this wasn't entirely off-base:

Dear Asnes,
can you please make Gamme 2023 look less like a hobbit from LOTR?
Thanks,
your loyal tribesman
