Forum name change?

I check in here from October through March -- sometimes two or three times daily -- hoping to glean another tidbit or three about drop knee turning.
For whatever reason, that simply isn't what this forum is about anymore.
Given the preponderance of threads devoted to these two subjects, I submit that the new forum name should be:
'Asnes and Leathers'.
Alternate working title:
'K&G on your NNN BC'
Nothing wrong with where the forum has gone, it's just no longer accurate to call it Telemark Tips.
Discuss?

Maybe just an additional forum, rather than a website name change:

IDK what to call it, maybe "Techniques"?
I think most of the people here just concentrate on more of a Cross country and tour experience is all.
Last thing we need is more of us MTBR types!

Telemark skiing is a ski technique that involves raising the heel in order to turn.
Whether the heel is raised using leathers or SuperComps, Asnes or Trucker skis, NNN-BC or Skyhoys bindings is totally irrelevant. If the knees are dropped in order to turn, it's called Telemark Skiing.
Is there something preventing you from discussing Telemark Skiing here with the gear you are personally using? Or perhaps there is a minimum ratio of approach mileage vs linked turns on the descent before you can call it telemark in your own special definition? Why not just start your own thread with the stuff you like or that you wanna share with us?

We don't need a forum name change, just from now on all discussions should be posted in the "off-topic" area...or more folks could start some tele ski related posts and get us all back on track, so to speak, to genuflecting on snow.

I totally agree, and I don't have a problem with it. Things change/evolve over time -- it happens.

Thank you for the introduction to the obvious.
My point is that a very, very, very small percentage of discussions here have anything to do with turning. The vast majority have to do with kicking, gliding, waxing, skinny skis.
All valid topics for discussion, somewhere. But if we're not discussing turning, then how can such discussions be related to telemarking?

Start a thread. (Edit I just started one for fun sake. I like turning it's the best part)
There's actually loads of info here about turning but it's buried. I think a lot of people come here using search terms for certain bc Nordic gear and this place dominates the search results on said niche subject and things have evolved that way. They don't come necessarily to talk telemark. It could be called House of PooPoo and the discussion would still be what it is.

old timer Curtis Johns posted this on fb today!
wow! he really ripped in his time (and probably still does). would love to be able to ski like that on my gear.
I have that 123 tips book. I think if you ski light tele gear, this book is a must.
I watch a ton of videos and spend a small part of the time practicing technique every time I am out. It's a life long journey for me. we all can't be naturals like those guys in the video.
