Can't find anything online about the model, but for $40 CAD, why not repurpose old alpine skis?

Absolutely on the repurpose.

But go shorter. Get something with more shape. Why make it hard?

Thanks. Yeah, seller has told me they're GS/super-G. That ain't going to work for me.
