Advice please on old skis

Hi Everyone,
Recently a friend gifted me with pair of skis from deep in the far recesses of his storage locker.
They are a brand new, with original price sticker attached, pair of Tua Trans-alp telemark skis (unmounted).
It was for a project he had in mind that he never got around to starting. (please see attached photos)
They look to be around 210cm but I can find no markings.
I have never skied on telemark skis of this style and vintage and would love to give them a try.
I have a set of BD-01 bindings sitting around doing waiting for a project.
So I would like to ask the forum for some advice.
1- Should I use the BD-01 bindings? I know they are from a different era, I just wonder if they would put too much stress on the ski?
2 - Where should I mount a binding. There is no centre line mark on the ski. Should I use balance point or string centre as a starting point? Should I mount fore or aft of centre?
3- Should I just forget about the whole thing?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kootenay

Not familiar with those skis but they appear to be a touring ski on which one can execute gentle turns and traverse hard packed slopes but not really a turning ski. So the 01's may be overkill and not give you as much K&G as one would want with those skis.

I'd mount with pin line slightly forward (inch or two) from the balance point.
