Saying "hi"

first time user from central WA, where our "state flower" is a can of Rustoleum spray paint. At 73. I've logged over 70 years of skiing, both Alpine & Nordic, but not a lot of tele skiing. I "can" tele, but since I was a serious racer (biathlon), almost all of my Nordic skiing is in track stuff. So I have questions-LOTS of them. Later this week I'm picking up a pair of S-Bound 98's, but next season, assuming Rottefella makes their Explor binding available here, I'm absolutely lusting after a pair of FT62's I think Johnny already answered this question in one of his reviews, but in addition to their x-skins, you can actually wax the pocket for grip. Waxing is something I'm very familiar with having raced extensively in the `80's, so I appreciate learning that you can wax these things. And who knows: maybe I'll eventually grab a full-on lift-served setup, but in the meantime, a bunch of us are eyeballing that hut-to-hut tour out in Sisters, Oregon! Happy New Year y'all!

Another welcome, Big Mao; first of your posts I've seen. What caught my eye is your avatar, as I'm also quite into "trad" archery.
Far as skiing goes, I've been at it for 'bout 65 years, starting with alpine, then on to xc/xcd, bc, tele. Hope we hear more from you.

Who wants a bow with training wheels???
Big Mao, I have a new FT Xplore, but it has yet to see snow. It is significantly different than the previous generations (2)
I’ll report when I have something worth saying

I'm a huge biathlon fan. shooting was not available to me when I was young so I settled for competing in Nordic Combined. I think that there should be a sport that combines Skimo + Biathalon. BiSkimathalon .
