Falketind 62 vs Eons?

Post by colliseumj » Wed Oct 12, 2022 5:39 pm

Hey friends,

Searching for my dream BC ski. Equal parts flats and turns. Driven by BCX 75 waterproofs.

I’ve got a pair of Eons but they’re not the turniest skis out there (though not bad!). Anyone know how the Falketinds compare with regards to K+G performance?

I never skied an Eon, the new Falketind Xplore is an acceptable XC ski. It is very fun downhill. It turns easily.
I started a review. There is another member at the end of the thread that got a pair. He was similarly as pleased as I am.

Generally speaking my favorite ski that I considered equal in flats and turns was a single camber waxable ski at 70 mm in the waist. If I were to replace them today I would get either the F62 or Rabb. For me the Rabb would be my choice because it's closer to the 70mm waist that I found works really well with leather or plastic boots.
