My cat brought in a hare the other day and yesterday killed 3 lizards (Italian Wall Lizards), my old cat would be satisfied to detach the tail of the lizard and play with that but this guy goes for the gold.Montana St Alum wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 11:08 amAnd didn't try to convert your cat to vegan-ism! Though I'd prefer my cat bring me carrot tops rather than mouse heads!randoskier wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 6:48 amAl there is good movie debuting tonight on Net Flix about the Sami people- it is based on a novel written by a Swedish Sami woman about some of the tribulations they endure as indigenous people. It is called "Stolen" (subtitled). The book was good too.lowangle al wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 10:29 pmThat looked like a fantastic trip rando, and great pictures. It's nice to go back to places where your friends with the locals.
PS I should not be so hard on the vegans, my vegan cat-sitter did a great job while I was away and she didn't eat my flowers or anything.

So I guess you're an East Coast guy. Are you from NY?Montana St Alum wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 8:07 pmThe last time I skied Belleayre was in 1969. My father was in the Air Force at Stewart AFB. We moved there in 1965 from LA (Lower Alabama). I went to school in Washingtonville - where my southern accent was removed. I skied a lot of evenings at the West Point ski area (T-bars and rope tows - went through a lot of gloves!). My wife gives me a hard time when I say I was in "Upstate" New York, when I was not far from the Bronx, and she was up near Buffalo.lowangle al wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 11:13 amSo I guess you're an East Coast guy. My father went to college in Missoula, Mt. and had such great stories, I decided to go to MSU in Bozeman. That was an epiphany! I'd never been more than 50 miles or so left of the Hudson. In the Navy in San Diego, then to Utah in 1990.
I found this years ago:

"Everybody's going to look a little bit different and that's the beauty of the telemark turn". I like that a lot. Great video

Haven't heard a word from or about Biff since Telemark East went away. He'd been a fixture for a long long while.

Winter can’t go on forever, but it seems like every ski outing is better than the last until it is the last.
You can never have enough skis and boots.
