On Table Mountain a second time. Tried to video myself to check my form - Failure! Ended up in slo-mo and my IPhone became a SnoPhone.

Then there was some gnarly crust

Got a skin track set and made some turns and ate it a few times.

Yesterday Woods, Plow, and myself skied from Waterville Valley, NH to East Pond, which is about a 12 mile round trip and just shy of 2200ft of climbing. After climbing Tripoli Road, we gave up about 2/3 of the elevation going down the other side, before starting the 800ft or so climb on the East Pond hiking trail.

With a few inches of fresh snow on the ground, and the snow near the top of Thornton Gap still about knee deep, there was plenty of coverage for this trip.

Skins made the second half of the climb much easier

A boring picture...My friend Thor's brewery in Snaasa, Norway. The Norwegian sense of humor- a little strange, and fortunately very rare.

Do the Moose come by looking for someone to buy them a beer?

Great pick looking for a bottle of Moose Drool obviously. Actually I saw four moose and five reindeer from the brewery, they were about 150 meters to 200 meters out (not as social as your moose) and dangerously close to the single track Nordlands Railroad which crushes a lot of moose and reindeer all year long. Moose is the main meat that people live on around Snaasa.

I saw a picture of a moose drinking a can of Olympia beer at a bar in Knick, Ak. It was a regular at the bar where people would buy it a beer, and Olympia was the cheapest. His name was Oly and he got mad when he didn't get any.

Sagebrush BBQ a few doors down used to have it on Tap. I was bummed when they took it off. And just yesterday the CO Division of Wildlife just had to tranquilize a cow and relocate her cuz she was hanging around town to much, the rumor was that one of the shops was feeding her alfalfa out the back door. A Big No No here.

There are a lot of moose living in anchorage. I found this antler in my yard when I got up here this past January.

@lowangle al looks like a great place to ski.
@riel You and Woods are harsh, making the new guy break his own trail when someone is in the lead breaking trail! Must be a tough group to get into!
