Skied the SB-112's and was able set uphill track on fishscales almost as steep as with AT gear. The density/moisture content of the snow was such that I never had to pull out the Easy Skins. I love that! It's what makes XCD best!

Nice turns Kdog. I haven't used skins much at all the last several seasons. It's nice to not have any transitions and just keep on going. I got over 3200 feet of turns one day last week, on terrain similar to what's in your photos.

Noting like plowing through thick spring powder trying to work on Tele balance and turns.

Good idea, especially in that snow, to get a run packed down as opposed to making a fresh track every time. It skis better and gets faster with every run.

I think I can see your uptrack on the right. You must have been there right before they opened because it looks like the Tbar is running yet yours are the only tracks. It's nice that they didn't groom that slope, or maybe it kept snowing after they groomed.

Sisyphus took a break!

Is that what they call a "glacial erratic?"

Sisyphus summited! They should name this "peak" Mt. Sisyphus (but then the Trumpers would say- "They have penicillin for that don't they?")

Bingo. Just able to squeeze in 3 runs before it started spinning. But then I still had another good five runs with hardly any other cuts in my line.
It just snowed the night before. They don't groom much, anyway. Nothing was groomed this day, why ruin the snow?
