Good Price For New Old Stock Asolo Extreme Plus Boot
Good Price For New Old Stock Asolo Extreme Plus Boot
Found some New Old Stock Asolo Extreme boots online, but I am new to the leater boot scene. How much would you pay for them?
Re: Good Price For New Old Stock Asolo Extreme Plus Boot
Factor in the cost of resoling them.
Not sure how old those are, but after 20 years the glue in boots can start to fail on you. Sometimes it doesn't. Not something I want to risk in the backcountry.
I would pay $100 for them, send them to Dave Page for a resole, and then you have a killer pair of boots for under $300. They don't make boots like that anymore.

I think $100 would be about right also, but given they're unused, and, importantly, if they fit really well, I'd personally consider paying somewhat more. They're an excellent classic leather in their category.

Asolo Extreme Plus -- Is that the one with the two buckles? If so, that has a lot of forward lean built in, which I found doesn't tour very well. That spoiler in the back bothered me while kicking-and-gliding.
