Overboots/gaiters for 3-pin boot and bindings.

I have a pair of old Merrell 3 pins that I love, but they aren't very well insulated in the toe area. I have a pair of outdoor research x-gaiters (recently discontinued) that I got for a great deal. We have had some especially cold weather here recently and without the x-gaiters I would have had a rough time. Unfortunately, they are proving to not be very durable and after 5-6 wears they are showing serious signs of wear in certain spots. They are currently heavily discounted online. I could just buy another couple pairs and wear them out, but I don't like that option very much.

I've tried the berghaus yeti gaiters and because my boots don't have a really stiff and substantial toe cap, the gaiters squeezed my toes a bit. That's not going to work.

The 40 belows are way too expensive and I think they would be too thick to fit in a 3-pin binding. If the overboot wraps around the sole and it's too thick, the sides of the binding won't let it fit.

What other options are out there? There are some insulated overboots designed for track skiing like these: https://www.rossignol.com/us-en/unisex- ... 00000.html
I don't need them to be a full height gaiter, I can always use regular gaiters with them. Just need more insulation. And they need to work in a 3-pin binding. Any ideas?
