Back in December I came across a set of Ultimate Telemark Bindings on some K2 World Pistes and decided to get them. I recently dug them back up and started to look into them some more. When doing this I found this article on them and a variety of other bindings I've never heard of, like the companies Landmark Sports and Ichor Rocket Science. These had me interested so I was wondering has anyone heard of these companies and does anyone know what their bindings were like? I was also wondering does anyone know of other weird/interesting bindings along the lines of the Ultimate Telemark Bindings, Linken bindings, Voile plate, etc.?

The Voile Plate was a true game changer when it was introduced in the 1980s. Leather Boots had gotten heavier and more supportive, but bindings lagged. Adding the plate was a tremendous boost to controllability in the turn, better than many cable designs.
Those other designs, not so much, but all of them added to the true fire of the telemark turn, helping to evolve other improvements in bindings.
