I'm looking to learn the non-free-heel side of things, and got a great deal on some Speed Turn bindings and TLT boots. Ideally I'd like to pair them with a Voile V6 BC, but that costs 2x as much...
This setup would be for deep powder, moderate terrain, and as a compliment to Panorama M78's w/ Alpina Alaskas/T4's.
Is this a stupid idea?
KOMS NOT HOKS

I wouldn’t. Too much boot for the Hoks. Get a 75 mm and use the Alaskas. You can do powder on Hoks but its gonna be work. I’ve got Koms mounted with TTS thats a pleasureable combination but if I was just beating around in the bush and not doing vertical/challenging stuff I’d go Xplore.

Sorry, I meant to say Koms... messes up the whole post!
