Enjoy the silence - the Minwax alternative
I hate equipment noise. I tried some silicone spray, but maybe I didn't have the right kind. It worked initially, but the equipment noise returned relatively quickly.
I had some Minwax lying around, and I thought, 'Why not?' It seems to be working well; I've had 5-6 good outings so far without needing to reapply, and there's still no noise.

Wonder if that Minwax Finishing Wax would help to reduce snow and ice buildup. My 22 Design Bandits get a bit of a groan/squeak as well as a bit of buildup on occasion, tempting to brush some on the innards and front spring of the binding.
