Personally, I’m kinda tired seeing the constant influx of these first post, just joined variety; they seem to come in daily and are always versions of very basic questions that have been discussed dozens of times here. And the new poster very rarely replies, just one repetitive gear question and they disappear.
Any way these can be flagged when they supposedly join?

Some of us do a cannonball and make our presence known, others dip a toe in, don’t find its their thing and wander off to…wherever.
I’m more cautious when it comes to someone buying or selling though. Kinda like to see some history there (although thats not 100% foolproof either).

It’s really not a big issue, just seems like it’s done for fun and that’s how some of those past trolls came about. I don’t worry much about a single classifieds post, since it’s pretty easy to recognize a scam and avoid it if there’s any contact. I suppose I was also a ‘lil bit curious to see if there’d be a reply from a moderator, whoever that be these days.
