Veterans Day and the 10th Mountain Division
Start this with a sincere thank you to all who have served and are serving
I'm curious if anyone on here is former or current 10th Mountain Division and willing to share any stories.
My grandfather was in WWII and thought I would share an article the local paper did on him back in the 80's
He never told any of the grand kids much more than what was in this article. There are a few books that go into more detail that I need to buy, I know my grandmother had a couple of them but not sure where they ended up
A couple years ago I was able to snag a pair of period goggles (really the only uniform piece I could find at an affordable price, those coats go for a lot!). No idea what happened to his personal gear, I should really ask my mom/uncle/aunts
