Side Hustles
Anybody here rock side hustles? Dog walking was mentioned in the Asnes doggy-ski thread and it got me thinking. I have volkswagen problems and other various fiscal issues which I generally handle by doing Skip the Dishes on the side. But that gig is unfortunately stressed with various geo political issues locally. It's becoming a waste of time. So, what's out there?

pressure washing houses, driveways, handyman stuff. UPS back up delivery driver for holidays. fixing broken down cars and flipping them. growing tobacco, and selling the leafs to friends. studying digital mining of non-bitcoin currencies. and buying stocks for dividends.

Move to Norway or Sweden where all jobs matter and everyone is paid well and the Nordic skiing is the best in the world. Many jobs in construction and in the oil industryLhartley wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 8:40 pmAnybody here rock side hustles? From what I read, being a troll on X can pay off bigly. Super markets around me are always looking for part time pickers and baggers. Standing on the side of the road with a cardboard sign is another option. No boss, tax free income and make your own hours.

I'll remind you Im Canadian. Migrants get handed a Mastercard and a hotel room upon entry. They want for nothing, and I pay for it via 40 percent+ of my self worth in tax. Everyone in Canada has multiple jobs in Trudeaus wannabe socialist utopia. Its not Scandinavia. So, I don't find that funny.blitzskier wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 3:11 pmjust study your local migrant community, they'll show you how to work and side hussle

I’m pretty fortunate to have overtime available to me if I wanted it, otherwise I’d be building decks and other handyman kinda stuff. I’ve done a lot of snow shoveling in the past as well- getting paid to workout is sweet.

tree and garden cleaning and trimming, picking up old silverwear at estate sales and flipping the metal, lots of old vintage books at garage sales too. I once found $25k inside a secret stash book at a garage sale, paid $5 for it. put a plow on and old ATV and push snow off sidewalksLhartley wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 3:43 pmblitzskier wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 3:11 pmjust study your local migrant community, they'll show you how to work and side hussle
