Edwin Black is one of the world's preeminent Holocaust historians, a prominent Jewish activist, and the son of Holocaust survivors. So of course it makes perfect sense that in the upside-down world of "Israeli values" he would be called an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist.

P.P.S. I understand the chauvinism and it isn't just Israeli. Most American Jews have a Jewish banker, accountant, dentist, doctor, lawyer, travel agent, etc. I find it distasteful in certain respects, very normal in others since just about every tribe on Earth does it. I think he went to school with my mom, or in any case grew up in one of the only neighborhoods for Jews on the north side. In any case just because he is a self-loathing super liberal nut doesn't mean he is "one of the world's preeminent." Fact is he doesn't have anything close to this reputation and there are many valid criticisms of his work.

Stalin was _removing_ Jews from governmental positions, fomenting anti-Semitism in Ukraine, had plans to deport them all from the country, used propganda to refer only to Soviet Jews targeted by Nazi Germany as mere Soviets with zero reference to the fact that they were Jewish was the main reason for their extermination. But whatever world you live in with these alternative facts, I don't want to go. Also, any citations re number of refugees because I have never seen any data indicating that is true. And yes, evil communists who thought (and many Russians still do think) the peoples of the Baltic states and Ukraine were lesser than themselves and therefore annexed those places (sound like familiar criticism of some particular people today?).

Of course when confronted by facts that threaten his narrative he disappears. Which basically proves my last point--the modern progressive is the most arrogant, bigoted, asshole there is.... worse than jews and israelis, he just disappears when the going gets tough. Yeah the Left cheered when Trump was shot at and an innocent died. He wasn't "innocent" by their assessmenr because he was at a Trump rally. As I said, if it isn't done to them first they will do it to the others. They are now cheering the murder of a ceo because "corporations are evil." As I said, most despicable people in history and if they aren't stopped they will try to kill or re-educate everyone not on their side.
