Different algorithms, different echo chambers. Humans hear what they want to hear. Remember that Canada was the location of the "trucker convoy". On our social media there was a massive battle for narrative involving a an innumerable number of bots, deliberately trying to divide the population. At the time it was said to be a few different countries, but given current events I reckon there's one particular country that benefits from dividing it's neighbor

It is an absurd and disingenuous lie, grotesquerie, to suggest that there was any serious discussion ("all sorts of talk") of putting people in "re-education" camps.

You just did something that none of us should be doing anymore.

You repeated something that was not true: that there was widespread and serious discussion about putting people in re-education camps during Covid. You presented it as fact.

We are in trouble. We are polarised. People believe and repeat grotesque things that make it increasingly difficult for us to resolve our differences and find solutions.

We have to be able to find consensus, all of us, and that requires that we have some basic understanding of what's true and what isn't.

And when you deliberately repeat things like this, as if it's true, as if it's common knownledge, when it's anything but, you make the world worse.
