Europe is a fucking joke

This is the place to debate politics, global warming, and yes, even the origin of man, whatever. Simply put, if you want to argue about off topic stuff, you've found the right board. Have fun!

Most Americans do not understand what it means in America according to the law. The law states that the government cannot limit what a person can say. It does not mean someone can express their opinion without others trying to stop it.

Who decides which opinions "should be stopped"?

Like in the video above, the person who is offended decides what someone is free to say. Govt in the US of A has no role in the debate. Back in the day everybody knew that. Years of propaganda changed the meaning but not the truth about free speech and the Constitution.

I am in another unmoderated political forum where I was doxed and a person posted obscene statements mentioning my wife's name and town. I could not ask for the govt to tell him to stop but I will sucker punch him if I ever get the opportunity. I did manage to get him banned from the forum.

I hope that clears up what "Free Speech" really means per the US laws.

Oh ok. So the population should moderate itself. Great opinion, happy Sunday.

I don't agree with that video BTW. That was assault and you would face serious consequences, Nazi or not. As a libertarian I question whether a self policing society could be anything but anarchy. But chaos is fun

When Twitter was Twitter, I was in a circle of people of all ages from a bunch of different countries. We had a channel where we'd share Nazi accounts and mass report them.

By Nazi accounts, I mean proper Nazi accounts: swastikas, anti-semitic memes, anti-Jewish hate speech, fascist symbols, names with 'natsoc' and 'national socialist' in, things like that.

Ultimately it's up to the site to decide whether they're comfortable with genocidal speech, there's only so much the rest of us can do.

I believe if you run a site like twitter, it's your responsibility to silence Nazis.

@L
You got it!! Glad I could educate someone. Now don't assume that the US Constitution has any bearing in Europe. But you are free to express your opinion without govt intervention.

It looks like the conservatives CDU/CSU alliance won. AfD came second in terms of votes. I don't thiiink they'll be particularly influential in making the new government, thank god (no one wants to negotiate with fascists) but I'm not sure how it'll play out.
