So, our incoming Prez in the USA,
seems hell-bent upon adding/increasing Tariffs,
on all foreign goods…

time to buy gear,
domestically,
and especially, from abroad, now?
while its still open-traded?

next year,
will we all lament?:
“The days of affordable nordic gear are over.”

Biden kept, and in some cases, increased Trump's tariffs from his first term.
But, to your point, I'm sure tariffs on some goods, at some point, must increase prices on the items effected. At some point, producers can no longer absorb those (or any) costs.
And buying fun stuff NOW, is usually a good strategy.

But on a related note, Neptune Mountaineering in Colorado has increased the price on Asnes Nansen skis from $399 with free shipping in 2022 to I believe $499 or $549 with $75 shipping in 2024.
