Alico ski march toe failure
Alico ski march toe failure
Hey all,
On a recent trip I had the pins tear the sole of my Alico ski march boots. They’re still useable when I cable in, but it’s more tension than I’d like for flat terrain.
I loved the boot, I could ski downhill really well. Lots of power transfer, wasn’t all bad on the flats either. I don’t know if I could get these repaired by a cobbler or not. Would need an entire new sole. I’d like to be able to 3-pin and strap in for steep descents.
I know I’m bringing up an age old topic… any new boots that folks would recommend? Any experience with Alico mountain? The crispi svartisen seemed a little light for my preferences. I’m on ultravectors with voile hardwire bindings for reference.
Thank you!
