Potentially, I know Voile issues an all white Combat Vector for the US Army.

Here it is:

I went through my EBay account and these came up. In my estimation legit, good deal. The dealer had 94% satisfaction rating

The posted width numbers on that auction don't match any current Voile skis, so I asked the seller if they knew which model they were.

His response:

"There is no model number on the skis or box I bought these at a surplus military auction so they are military skis so if you need any Pacific measurements just let me know and I’ll get them for you"

Hopefully someone snaps these up, unfortunately not in a position to invest in them right now ... but they're certainly a class act. All white mil ski. Nice!

Surely these are either the original Vector BC or the current Ultravector BC?

The price is great- when you consider the price of the current ski + SB binding- but, man- the seller must be making a killing on these (I bet you the auction price was darn cheap!)

I'm considering it...

Pretty sure there was a military version of both the original Vector BC and the current Ultravector BC?

The posted #'s in the ad don't match either.

I thought hard about this deal but I already have -- and love -- my Kom's. Can't see how these would improve on those.

You could have a lotta fun with a setup like that...my experience in govt sales is that the seller bought these for literally 10 cents on the dollar and is trying to make a real killing on the product. If they're still for sale in a couple weeks I'd email an offer for less and see if he is interested...

This seems totally legit. Some government issued ski that wasn't marketed, in Euro dimensions with the less sidecut for better tracking. you can see the channels in the core through the base, and it looks like my prototype Objectives which have a clearer base and the same core pattern.

You're basically getting a free binding but paying full price for the skis though. I'd wait it out like fgd135 said, but already two are gone.

AND THE DUDE is in INDIANA maybe he doesn't know where to take the measurements from anyway and he's taking them from the ends before they round off, which are narrower than the widest points of the shovel and tail. Waist is pretty close to the 177 ultravector, just sayin'
