Spiny, you might try "Play It Again Sports" in Boulder--I was in there Friday, and their shelves were full of used tele boots. Can't say I remember what, exactly, since I wasn't looking for boots, but I'd waste no time and use the phone to actually call and speak with them.

I saw those on CL.

I had a pair of the 27/27.5 last year and just could not make them work. Close, but even with thermo liners I wasn;t able to keep them.

Spiny - I have a pair of 28's (Garmont Excursions) that up until last week were "new in the box". They now have a total of 1 day on them. They are simply too big for my feet. I could get close with custom orthotics and a heavy weight smartwool sock but it's just not close enough. I'm open to sending them off to a better home. Send me a PM and we'll work thru the details.
