...I had a new old-stock pair of unmounted 210CM Karhu military skis.... Big-ass skis for a big skier, or might be great runners for some kind of a towed sled. Or make a lawn chair. Impress your friends!
This is the same exact ski as is offered by on ebay in 190cm, ("hundreds of pairs sold!"), not by me, btw, this pair is 210cm. Not long enough for jumping, perhaps long enough for herding reindeer if you do that. White top sheet, black soles, full metal edges and tip grommets. 87-71-78 cm profile, or close. SOLD!

These beauties are still available! But not for much longer, manager says "they gotta go!". If you live in the Colorado front range and need some whopper-size expedition worthy skis, these are for you! Might make a project in your graduate fine art studies at the University of No Credit, or Naropa. Would be nice runners for your Boy Scout Klondike derby sled. Stand em in the corner as a conversation starter at cocktail parties, or as an autograph board for your famous friends.

I sure hope you sell these to someone on this forum who can report on actually skiing them! I'm pretty sure I have the same skis down in the basement that I got from sportsman's guide 12 or so years ago for $29 delivered. Mine came with an odd & complicated hybrid binding that I think was meant to use with some combat boot or other, fiberglass poles, and full length skins. They really are interesting, and someone who knows what they're doing could probably make good use of them. Which is why I'm posting this reply - I'd love to see a discussion of them in use. I am not associated with the seller of those ebay skis; I got this pair when I worked for a supplier of equipment to the US Mil, as a sample.
I've skied on the 190's; they're ok skis for the money, but heavy, I think the older model Asnes MT65 combats from Coleman's a better in many ways, but hey, $20 for a pair of monster white skis is a pretty good deal, imo. Boss wants more garage space for dog food, or some potting soil, so these gotta go.

I still have these brand new undrilled big old Karhu USGI skis available for anyone strong enough or brave or foolish enough to want them. Actually would make a nice ski for a tall person carrying heavy packs in deep snow, or as mentioned, for sled runners or the like. Or a cabin wall hanger.
