Typical xcd tour in my farm
I define myself as a backdoor skier as I am blessed to have a large playground just at my doorstep. Of course, I wish I had access to big mountains but how could I complain... hope you enjoy

I LIKE YOUR HERRINGBONES
Reminds me of skiing with my dad as a kid in upstate NY.
not that it matters, but do you have skins?

Thanks for the compliment... was it a compliment
I do have skins that I try to use as little as possible. I can only manage a few turns in the many little slopes around the farm so I try not to use them especially when the snow is sof. Those are the conditions where my Äsnes shine the most. I like to use them on crust, very frequent here , as they slow me down.
About the herringbones, my kids were mad at me when they learned XC skiing when they had to climb these little hills. I would stand right behind them and encouraging them to keep going. Almost as soon as they could walk we took them skiing and they learned right here on the farm... such good memories... we were always pulling a pukka as well and many times our kids would come back in the pukka and sleeping along even when it was really cold and we would wrap them with tons of blankets. I will stop here before I start crying
Oh God do I love winter!

Boning is just part of the game bud. Don't worry bout it.
