Re: Ski Movies
Our local shop showed Ruin and Rose (Matchstick Productions) last weekend - complete with spiked hot cider and hot chocolate. I had a hard time following it, but it was a good film. Really drove home the worst case climate change scenario. No free-heeling in this one which is the usual bummer. Although, seeing a kid traverse sand dunes on AT gear inspired me to make it a point to ski at Great Sand Dunes National Park this winter (about an hour from me and where my wife works). I picked up some $20 Atomic MX7s with 3 pin cables to sacrifice to the dunes.

I don't think I've posted this creep-tastic trailer before for "The Ski Bum". Possibly NSFW.
"Sex and Speed, America is a fantastic whore." It gets creepy. Enjoy.

Re: Ski Movies
To anyone posting vids, there has been a slight change in the forum.
You'll notice there isn't a button to put video tags on anymore. You don't need them. Just post the url naked and the forum will recognize it as a video and embed it. Seems to work for vimeo and youtube. Don't know about some of the others...
I edited the above post to show. Digger, you can can click edit to see what the text looks like... just put the url there, no tags...

Re: Ski Movies
That place in the Jura seems sweet...
Here is another one, very sober too but in a different way. Very surprising production from Redbull; you almost want to be friend with the guy (Jérémie Heitz), unlike the other freeride heroes that RB usually portrays...

Turn it up and enjoy, it's got everything! Telemark, deep knees, skinny ski XCD, lurks. Austria, I think from the architecture.
EDIT: WOOPS DOUBLE POST from Montrealer... how did I miss this on this same page! Good find and enjoyable for sure, dude!
