I have access to Fischer and Alpina, but they don't bring in all sizes/models. 48 isn't big enough, but 49 might be.

I'm thinking now I'll get the E109's in max length and then also get something on the wider side from Rossy's lineup.

The S-bound 125's that are left are on the shorter side, so I'll skip those.

The max fischer size is the same accross the lineup (albiet using different lasts depending on the boot). If the BCX6 fits, then so does the offtrack BC. So I'd pick the BCX6.

If you want a supportive deep snow XC ski then I strongly recommend the Asnes Combat Nato or Ingstad- you can get them in 210cm/205cm respectively. The Combat Nato is the most supportive deep snow XC ski I have ever tested.

Don't know if there is an Asnes dealer in BC- but I know that the Norseman stocks the Combat Nato (and perhaps the Ingstad) in long lengths.

Doesn't look like either of those guys have the combat nato anymore? Besides, I'd prefer to stick in network for me due to price, mostly. I figured out that I have access to Rossignol too so I'll look at some of those as well.

50.5 unsupported, 49 when in the perfect custom orthotic/boot combo. Which can be tough.

Neat idea. If it comes down to that, for top performance, and top price, I would consider the Ice Trek family:

https://polardogssvalbard.com/2018/07/1 ... -bindings/

Oh, and just perhaps, that old cheap quality Asnes Combat ski available in 210cm might be the ticket. They are like 40$CAD for 2 pair:

Several people, namely LilCliffy, do enjoy them.

It might just fit your bill and you can put all the savings from the ski in binding/boot?
I live for the Telemark arc....The feeeeeeel.....I ski miles to get to a place where there is guaranteed snow to do the deal....TM

I have a pair of new, stock, universal bindings that were made to pair with the USGI Asnes Combat skis. The holes line up, it is a decent binding. If interested I would be willing to part with them. If interested I will post a photo
