I'm too old to be comfortable in the cab, that will be for gear storage when the grandkids aren't with us.
As far as the tuning and waxing there is plenty of room in the camper to rub some polar on the bases, which is all I do. I stopped using a bench and hot wax when my skis outgrew my vices.

After a lifetime of vacationing in a tent in the bush I am looking forward to this upgrade.

Snow very localized in NH, with wide ranging differences within a few miles.

I spent yesterday hunting around for good XC skiing and got SKUNKED super hard, only to come home and find pictures of acquaintances skiing trails in mid-winter conditions *literally* 5 miles away from where I got skunked. And by getting skunked I mean 1/4"-3/4" of fluff on top of gravel, while they were in 10" inches of decent snowpack a few miles away.

Jackson got 1" of snow while Great Glen XC ski area on the north side of Pinkham Notch a few miles away got 13" and opened to 100%.

In my town it snowed for hours, extremely heavy, but only translated to 2" of wet snow on the ground that turned to ice with a dust on top. 8 miles down the road an easy 7" and the fields look mighty fine. Go north 20 miles and it looks like November.

I read the NE Forum where the poster had about 6”. I was feeling sorry for you, “poor Woods will have to choose between all his cool skis”!
Well, sorry you didn’t have good snow. At least you didn’t suffer that mental anguish of leaving cool skis at home!
Soon we will all be sliding!

Well, so far the big winners of this storm seem to be Bellearye Mountain (with 2 FEET) and a Walmart parking lot in Binghamton New York with almost 3'!
This is not an acceptable distribution of snow!

Ah, I remember the good old days of 10" of snow followed by an inch of rain....wearing garbage bags at Hunter mountain in the late 1960's.

We keep getting dribs and drabs in the Wasatch. The Wasatch Back (DV, PC) has gotten about 60" this season. The front about 110". And the big winner out here is (as usual) Grand Targhee at 148". It is what it is.
My son is in Alaska where Alyeska and surrounding area is at 20 feet.

Please forgive my ignorance, and enlighten me, but New Hampshire seems small to me, aren’t you less than 2 hours anywhere in the state from wonderful poofyness?
Just asking my friend. I don’t know if hoards descend if the goods are not broadcast generously, or if driving around mountains greatly extends travel time. Around here driving around lakes adds to what should be short trips.

It truly is better to have loved and lost.
Around here I get an inch or two, then gone. Not quite enough three times now. We’re supposed to have snow Christmas Eve, hopefully Santa can land his sleigh, and I can slide my skis!
