Sierra Nevada farming. The white mountains on the left are the Desolation Wilderness; just past them and on their right is Lake Tahoe. The closer mountains are the backside of Kirkwood. Photo taken from close to 88 just west of Silver Lake.

Quick and dirty lap up and down the abandoned runs at Banff Gate Resort, AB. Lots of tracks from people with alpine touring setups--even a snowboarder...odd.
