Hey there.
My account was messed-up, and the login from social media account seems to now not be a login option, so I created a new account (formerly coreylayton)

anyway,
for those that are looking to buy some merino baselayers, eastern mountain sports (ems.com) has Smartwool 250 tops and bottoms for $75 right now (regular price $100)

76-60-66 so kind of like the Nansens, a little wider underfoot. Good for a lighter, shorter skier in that length of 193. Straight BC skiing kind of stuff, mostly.

Bindings are fine, NNN-BC

Kathy 10th mountain with NNN-BC bindings are a very good set up for a XCD skier. These are very similar to my first XC skis. If you are in the market, I would definitely consider getting these.

Hey! Good to see you back! I hope you post more good pictures of NM

These are not like the legendary later-year Karhu 10th Mtn (99-68-84) (Then Epochs, now Panorama 68), I don't want people to cross confuse the two. And yes, this would be a very good XC ski to get started!

Thanks and good point. I’ll post pics as soon as it snows here in NM, if it ever does!

Great backcountry gloves:
https://www.freethepowder.com/collections/gloves

Heads up! $20 off certain gloves until 11/15/21:

discount code for $20 off premium models (excludes limited edition models). Applies to every eligible item in your cart.

Use code: 20BUCKS expires 11/15/21

In addition, for a limited time, our most popular gloves the 5-finger RX Pro Glove and SX Pro Glove come with a complimentary extra Lite Liner for those warmer days.
Thanks for this tip!

I was in the market for some new gloves, anyway;
and this post popped-up, and I really like to patronize small specialty vendors like this,
so I ordered some... (got the SX Pro model...)

They arrived today and....Great gloves!
Pretty happy these ship with the extra Lite Liner.
The light liner is probably what I will need/use 90% of the time.
My hands get hot when Im out touring and working hard.
Would need to be in the single-digits (Fahrenheit) for me to bust-out the "heavy liners",
I think...
