Thanks to you all for checking it out! I also appreciate the trip reports and the trail beta when included. There's a lot that would be fun to share, but with the way the internet has destroyed once uncrowded/pristine areas, many people, myself included have become cagey and protective of our secret stashes!
However, Yellowstone is not a secret and the number of people there in the winter (besides day tours) is limited by the amount of lodging available. If you can secure a reservation, you can enjoy it in partial solitude which is impossible in summer! I highly recommend doing it at least once. It's a bucket list item for sure!

I am an avid fly fisherman as well, and that saying goes: The worst day of fishing is still better than the best day at work! Same goes for skiing as well!

Used a popper not a fly for this baby!
