I know I just changed my mind, I got the 190 e99 and I thought they were to flexible so they went back to the shop and I am planning to order the 190cm gamme instead even in might tune them with a bit of tape :D
I don't know... Gammes feels more flexible to me.

I'm confused- the e99 is stiffer than the Gamme 54?
Please elaborate-
which model/generation?
Overall?
Underfoot?
More cambered?

I have never flexed an e99 that is longitudinally as stiff as a gamme 54...
Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.

Came across a clean looking pair of the green Europa 99's. Does that color mean they have the aluminum edges for sure? Is that a bad thing? In the picture there appears to be some slight corrosion on the edges making me think it's steel.

I have aluminum edges on a blue pair of Europa 99. The edges seem fine. The pair I had just had zero snap, and the bases were slow. The edges seemed fine, I wouldn’t worry about them at all. I would say they are quite adequate.

Well there is the rub buying used skis off the interwebs. When I ask these guys how the camber is holding up, they don't know what camber is. Leap of faith I guess.

My old E99s just died.

I can’t find any new ones (including TN66 Crown) in the US.

Any ideas how to buy a new pair from overseas (contact info appreciated)…..????

OR….

Anyone have a lightly used pair of E99s (waxless/Crowns) in 210 cm you want to sell?

I’d feel more comfortable working with someone from this forum than an EBay’r.

I'm also on the hunt for these skis.

Anyone have some leads on where these might be in stock in the US or abroad? I decided to finally go ahead and get new skis and now with their factory issues it seems like all the stock is gone.

Looking for Waxless in the 200 or 205.

Just picked these up at a garage sale for $30. Swapping out the bindings to some rottefella st I have. Any ideas what year/generation these might be?
My first ever set of fishscaled bc skis, hope the patter isn't too much drag.

Sometimes picture file size is too large. Mostly I have had a problem with this when trying to post pictures that are in landscape mode vs portrait mode.

Look for a small error message on the page when you try to upload the picture from your device.
